New Zealand’s Coordinated Incident Management System (CIMS) establishes a framework of consistent principles, in response from one or more agencies or organisations. Incidents range from small to large — simple to complex ACT Safety has a well-established program for delivery of the Coordinated Incident Management Training (CIMS) refined over many years for many years for high hazard industries. We were invited by the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC) to be a member of the steering group for development and ongoing review of the system. We consider ourselves as front runners when we talk about CIMS - Coordinated Incident Management System Training.
