Health and Safety at Work (Mining and Quarrying Operations) prescribed competency requirements require A-B Grade Quarry Manager to hold US 21155. We recommend completing US 21153 as part of CPD hours.

- Demonstrate knowledge of the water management system at an extractive site, and of the measurement of the volume and quality of water to be discharged from that site;
- Demonstrate knowledge of pump maintenance;
- Demonstrate knowledge of maintaining drains and settling ponds in accordance with
resource consent conditions and company procedures.
