We believe that First Aid Training is an important, necessary life skill for everyone, and we provide this training with hands-on scenario-based learning, while having fun. Our team of skilled Trainers are qualified, industry experienced trainers. In the time it takes for more advanced care to arrive, first aid aims to prevent medical conditions from deteriorating, help relieve pain, and provide reassurance. This 1-day course is ideal for first aiders in workplaces and anyone wanting to learn first aid. First Aid Level 2 is covering all Units Standard 6400, 6401 and 6402 and content from First Aid Level 1.
First Aid - Level 2
NZQA 6400- Manage first aid in an emergency situation - Level 3, 2 Credits
Course overview:
People credited with this unit standard are able to manage first
aid in an emergency situation.
Please note to be able to complete all 3 units in 1 day a questionnaire and workbook will be provided to each learner on registration and the learner must return this questionnaire to the trainer on the day of the training.

NZQA 6401- Provide first aid - Level 2, 1 Credit
Course overview:
The importance of first aid is recognised all over the world and its capacity to make a difference cannot be overstated.
In this training you will learn all about;

- Heart attacks and chest pain
- Strokes
- Seizures
- Fractures and dislocations
- Soft tissues injuries
- Allergic reactions (anaphylaxis)
- Asthma
- Diabetes
NZQA 6402- Provide basic life support - Level 1, 1 Credit
Course overview:
- Scene and hazard management
- Patient positioning and assessment
- CPR (adults, children, infants)
- Defibrillator (AED) use
- Choking (adults, children, infants)
- General care.
