Gain a working knowledge of slinging loads safely and a broad understanding of relevant crane regulations. Trainees will be doing several practical exercises, ensuring they are up to date with the skills needed to understand calculations regarding lifting gear and working load limit tables and carrying out required duties. Gantry crane training will give trainees the skills and knowledge to operate a ‘radio remote' or 'pendant controlled' overhead crane, lift and place regular loads.
