Overview
On the completion of this course the trainees will be able to;
- Describe hazards that may harm workers, harm the work environment and organisations
- Explain health and safety requirements for hazard control
- Describe the hazard control methods
- Identify hazards and apply risk assessment procedures
Purpose of the Training
- Understand the responsibility of PCBU and workers under the HSW Act
- Describe hazard control methods in terms for monitoring their effectiveness
- Complete organisational documentation on hazard identification and risk assessment.
- The Hierarchy of Control from HSW (General Risk and Workplace Management) Regulations 2016 is described in terms of minimizing and eliminating
Course Duration
Public course; 7 hours with previous sign off from site – $230 + GST per trainee
In-house course; 8 hours – $200 + GST per trainee – minimum 8 & maximum 12 trainees
